Biograd

Info

Biograd is ideally positioned as the centre of the Adriatic coast Riviera and a Dalmatian nautical heaven. If there is a place on the Adriatic coast to visit and explore because of its beauty, its ideal position, harmony, cordial people and the proximity of the most important Croatian national parks and protected areas of nature, that is certainly Biograd na moru.

It is located in the Pašman Bay, 25 km south of Zadar with beautiful beaches, pine forests and sunny bays. What makes Biograd an astounding destination are its natural surroundings: proximity to National Park Kornati, Krka National Park and Nature Park Vransko Lake - an ornithological reserve, rich game fishing ground , interesting to canoeists and bird watchers as well.

Biograd na Moru is a famous stop for yachters whose destination is the Kornati archipelago. Boat races, sailing and diving schools and other nautical activities are organized throughout the year. Marina Kornati in Biograd has about 500 berths at sea and 200 on the mainland.

In few other locations in this part of the Adriatic coast was nature so generous as to create one of the most indented archipelagos in the world. The nearest island connected by daily boat service with Biograd is the island of Pašman. Trips are organized to the small island called Vergada in the vicinity of Biograd. Excursions are also arranged to the National park Kornati, which because of its special, indescribable beauty, deserves to be declared the pearl of the Adriatic.

In addition, we take you in the National parks Krka and Paklenica, then to stunning Plitvice Lakes and park of nature and natural phenomenon Vransko Lake.

Come to this beautiful city that has so much to experience and is just around the corner!
