HEAD OF FOOD & BEVERAGE DEPARTMENT AND FOOD & BEVERAGE PROFIT CENTER MANAGER (M/F) – several positions

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for work organization and proper business operations of the Food & Beverage Department and the F&B profit center
  • Planning and organizing food and beverage services for events, coordinating activities with other company departments, and reporting on the success of events
  • Ensuring, controlling, and supervising the implementation of standard operational F&B procedures and processes, as well as improving and maintaining achieved service quality levels
  • Monitoring and implementing the latest standards, procedures, and trends in hospitality
  • Participation in the preparation of the annual business plan, operational plans, and budgets, and monitoring their implementation at the profit center level
  • Responsibility for revenue generation and cost control
  • Knowledge of products and recipes (norms)
  • Ensuring adequate supply of goods for the profit center
  • Monitoring inventories and stock levels in coordination with other company departments
  • Workforce planning and participation in staff selection for hospitality facilities
  • Preparing daily and weekly staff schedules according to operational needs and maintaining work records
  • Ensuring proper functioning of equipment within the profit center
  • Ensuring cleanliness of service areas and work equipment
  • Handling guest complaints
  • Providing operational support during periods of increased workload
  • Preparing training and education plans for staff, with a focus on sales skills development and familiarity with standard F&B operational procedures
  • Coordinating activities and communication with other company departments
  • Performing other duties in accordance with the employment contract and instructions of superiors

Requirements:

  • Secondary school, college, or university degree in hospitality/tourism or food & beverage
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the same or similar positions in hospitality
  • Experience in managing business processes and leading teams; independence, strong communication and organizational skills, courtesy, and flexibility regarding working hours
  • Knowledge of English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage
  • Valid Category B driving license
