The berth usage contract is a service for using a permanent berth in the Marina, either in the water or onshore, for a period of at least six months.
The Marina assigns a permanent berth to each vessel according to its purpose, type, length, and width. Under the Berth Usage Contract, a vessel may be moved to another suitable berth.
All prices are determined based on the length and width of the vessel.
The vessel length is measured as "overall length," regardless of the length stated in the navigation license, yacht registration, or vessel certificate. The vessel length is determined by Marina Kornati staff either independently or in the presence of the vessel owner/user. If the vessel is measured without the owner/user present and there is a dispute, it can always be re-measured in the presence of the owner/user.
Before signing the Berth Usage Contract, the vessel owner/user is required to provide the marina with copies of:
- Vessel documents proving ownership (navigation license, yacht registration, or vessel certificate) or other documentation authorizing possession of the vessel
- A copy of the vessel insurance policy
- A passport or ID card of the vessel user for verification
- Proof of paid tourist tax / navigation safety fee
The permanent berth includes:
- Berth in the water or onshore
- Use of sanitary facilities
- Normal consumption of electricity (16A) and water
- Berth supervision
- Parking for one car
- VIP card
Notes: The user agrees to leave spare keys of the vessel with Ilirija d.d., which may only be used in exceptional cases, such as removing the vessel in the event of potential damage to the vessel, other property, or persons.
The user may, with explicit written authorization and with Ilirija d.d.'s consent, allow the collection of vessel keys by persons or service providers registered in the Republic of Croatia for the activity they would perform on the vessel.
