Responsible waste management
Marina Kornati has implemented a waste separation and collection system, including hazardous waste such as oil filters, used engine oil, waste accumulators and batteries, oil containers, oily rags, contaminated packaging, technological sludge, and waste packaging from paints and varnishes. Waste generated at Marina Kornati is managed through authorized partners with whom Marina Kornati, Ilirija d.d., has contractual agreements. These partners operate in accordance with applicable regulations and best environmental practices. In the event of an environmental incident within the marina (e.g. fuel spillage), the marina is equipped with a floating ecological barrier to prevent the spread of pollution beyond the marina basin. The main waste disposal locations are clearly marked on the Marina Kornati site plan.

Special emphasis is placed on proper anchoring practices both within the marina and in the bays visited by boaters, prevention of fuel spills, and the prohibition of disposing of waste into the sea.
