Biograd na Moru lies on the coast of the Pašman Channel, 25 km south of Zadar, with beautiful beaches, pine forests and sunny coves. What makes the town an exceptional destination is its natural environment: the proximity of the Kornati National Park, the Krka National Park and the Vrana Lake Nature Park – a bird reserve and varied sports and fishing area, of interest to canoeists and bird watchers.

Regattas, sailing and diving schools and other boating events take place here throughout the year. The Marina Kornati and the hotel marina in Biograd na Moru together have about 805 berths at sea and 70 on land.

Rarely has nature been so generous as on this part of the Adriatic coast, creating one of the most diverse archipelagos in the world. The nearest island to be connected to Biograd by daily ferry line is Pašman. Near Biograd is the small island of Vrgada, a popular excursion destination, as well as Kornati National Park, which, due to its uniqueness and beauty, deserves to be declared the ‘jewel of the Adriatic’. The islet of Galešnjak has become a popular romantic destination since Google included it among a range of rare heart-shaped natural phenomena!
