For events with a large number of guests, we offer an unparalleled spectacular venue: Zadar Arsenal. This is a Venetian building that exudes history and at the same time offers the highest level of modern technology. Located in the centre of the Zadar peninsula, it’s just a few steps from the world-famous Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun.
Built in the 16th century and later upgraded, the Venetian Arsenal is today a unique venue for events based on the concept of an ‘indoor city square’ and can be used in a variety of ways. Its magnificent interior can be arranged according to the organiser’s requirements and the type of event, while the complete support of Ilirija’s team is available in all stages of the preparation and development of your event.
In addition to wedding venue decoration, we will also adapt the menu to the specific requirements of your event – from an informal buffet to a gala dinner. Our offer also includes themed parties based on the history and traditions of our region.
This can be combined with our other unique locations: we can organise a welcome reception before the event on a terrace with a view of the harbour in front of the Arsenal or at the famous Greeting to the Sun on Zadar’s waterfront, from where you can sail in style with our event ship Nada in front of the Arsenal.
In addition to the main hall, which can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, the Arsenal also has other meeting rooms, a bar and a restaurant. This is a place where your private or business event will get a special, almost magical dimension thanks to the special decorations and music: just tell us your wishes and our professional team will turn them into reality!
